JUDO JRT-BA ¾" - DN 65

JRT-BA IL ¾” – 2″ and JRT-BA DN 65 backflow preventer BA, for drinking water up to 65 °C, operating pressure min. 1.5 bar / max. 10 bar, Kvs value 5.9 – 52.0 m³/h (according to EN 1717).

The backflow preventer works on the 3-chamber principle, for protection up to liquid category 4 (EN 1717 and DIN 1988-100).

Scope of delivery:

Model JRT-BA IL ¾” – 2″

Backflow preventer DIN-DVGW-tested, brass body, plastic backflow preventer, EPDM and NBR diaphragm and seals, with connection pipe for function testing, bracket for HT pipe connection and connection fittings with external thread, pressure rating PN 10.

Model JRT-BA DN 65

Differing with body made of gunmetal, diaphragm and gaskets made of EPDM, flanged connection (without counter flanges and gaskets).

Note:

Depending on the design, the initial pressure loss for the BA backflow preventer JRT-BA IL ¾” – 2″ is approx. 0.8 bar (JRT-BA DN 65: 0.6 bar). The minimum inlet pressure is 1.5 bar.

For a fully functional safety device according to EN 1717 and DIN 1988-100, a strainer must be provided by the customer upstream of the backflow preventer! Also an additional drain valve upstream of the strainer or backwashable protective filter and shut-off valves upstream and downstream of the backflow preventer.
