Replacing the JUL mineral solution tank of the i-dos eco dosing pump is a simple 3-step task. In order to be able to calculate the JUL mineral solution exact range and to ensure that the correct JUL mineral solution is used, i-dos eco containers are supplied with a 4-digit activation code.

The activation code must be entered via the touch screen each time the JUL mineral solution is changed.

Exchange and activation of the JUL mineral solution

in 3 steps

Step 1:
JUL mineral solution container change

The JUL mineral solution container can be easily replaced or installed:

Step 1.1
Pull the i-dos eco main plug out of the socket and remove the empty JUL mineral solution container.

Step 1.2
Unscrew the lid of the new JUL mineral solution container.

Step 1.3
Carefully remove the seal with a sharp blade.

Step 1.4
Slide the JUL mineral solution container from below to the pump head and screw it to the pump housing.

Step 1.5
Do not plug in the power plug again until the JUL mineral solution container has been screwed on.

Note:
For the i-dos eco 10, 25 and 60, the pump is inserted into the JUL mineral solution container through the container opening and doesn’t need to be screwed on.

Step 2:
Entering the 4-digit activation code

On the JUL mineral solution container a label with a 4-digit activation code can be found. This can only be done with the special JUDO JUL mineral solution container.

Step 2.1
After plugging in the power plug, the display shows a request to enter the activation code.

Step 2.2
Select the respective digits with the arrow key and confirm each one with the OK key. The display changes to the next digit. Enter the other digits in the same way and confirm the code with the OK button.

Step 3:
Selecting the JUL mineral solution

In the last step, the type of JUL mineral solution must be set.

Selection during commissioning

During commissioning, after entering the activation code, the JUL mineral solution type JUL-W is displayed. If you are using a different type of mineral solution, you must change it by using the arrow keys. The JUL mineral solution type is then confirmed with the OK button.

Note:
It is imperative that the correct selection is made, especially if the data log, as per documentation requirement, is to be retrieved via USB and web interface.

After changing the JUL mineral solution container

After an empty status signal and the subsequent exchange of the JUL mineral solution container, the last set type of JUL mineral solution is displayed after entering the new activation code.
If you continue to use this type, you can simply confirm it with the OK button. The dosing pump would be ready for operation.

If you are using a different type of JUL mineral solution, this can be set directly after entering the new activation code with the arrow keys and confirmed with the OK key.
