New JUDO products for heating protection

Strict standards and specifications apply to the filling of heaters. With the right equipment, it can be very easy to comply with them – for example with the heating protection products from JUDO. The family-owned company from Winnenden has significantly expanded its range of products for this sector and offers customers new and efficient additions to its proven portfolio. These are suitable for very different applications and requirements.

Clean, hygienically safe drinking water is a gift and should be protected accordingly and separated from non-potable water. This is particularly easy and reliable with the JUDO JRT-BA IL backflow preventer, the latest BA series.
It is used to protect the drinking water network against non-potable water up to and including fluid category 4. The 3-chamber system with controllable inlet pressure, medium pressure and back pressure zones ensures maximum safety and is very compact and space-saving. A great advantage is the maintenance-friendly cartridge system. Cartridge replacement is very easy – fast, clean and without removing the fitting. This makes the annual maintenance requirement for backflow preventer an easy exercise from now on.

Another new product is the MAFI mini for heating water filtration. The magnetite filter scores with many advantages of its big brother MAFI. At the same time, it is even more compact and space-saving and can therefore be ideally installed at the inlets of a decentralised heating and hot water boiler. The system filters particles with a stainless steel filter mesh and the power of a high-performance magnet. This reliably separates magnetic and non-magnetic dirt particles. The filtered particles can be easily removed by rinsing.

The JUDO Alkali Check in combination with JUDO THERMODOS PLUS / MINUS ensures an optimum pH value for heating water. Corrosion in the heating system is usually directly influenced by the pH value of the heating water. However, the effective need for corrective agents is often very low. An uncontrolled dosage tends to create more problems.
JUDO offers a very simple measuring method for this: the JUDO Alkali Check. With it you can check in just a few steps whether the pH value of the heating water is within the appropriate range for the installation at hand. With the easily determined amount of the conditioning agent, the pH value can then be adjusted precisely and verifiably to the optimum value of 8.2. JUDO THERMODOS PLUS / MINUS is suitable for correcting the pH value in closed heating circuits. The pH value of the heating water is raised by adding JTH-PLUS or lowered by adding JTH-MINUS.
The dosage depends on the system content and the acid or base capacity determined.
