Water is not only H2O. Our drinking water contains many other components. For example sulphates and chlorides, but also carbon dioxide and oxygen. Depending on the hardness and pH-value of the water, and depending on the material used for the pipes, these substances have a corrosive effect.
This can be unhealthy – not only for the drinking water pipes. Because corrosion promotes the growth of bacteria. In addition, metal pipes can release heavy metals into the water.
A JUDO dosing pump provides a remedy.
Certain minerals when added to the drinking water supply form a firmly adhering protective layer on the inner surface of the pipes. This layer protects the metal from corrosion. Other special minerals stabilise lime. They prevent hardness from precipitating and depositing in pipes and equipment.
In 1951, JUDO launched the first precision dosing device on the market. We still see this pioneering achievement as a boost today. With our innovative dosing systems for both domestic water technology and technical building equipment, we set the standards in the industry today. And we plan to continue to do so in the future. By further extending the lead of our products in technology, quality and operability.
Metal pipes release heavy metals into the water under certain conditions. It is well known that an increased concentration of these substances can be harmful to health. It is not for nothing that the international drinking water regulators set precise limits for heavy metal contents – and every homeowner is obliged to comply with these limits and protect the quality of the drinking water.
A protective layer is an effective way of preventing the corrosion-related increase of heavy metals in your drinking water. It also makes it much more difficult for bacteria to settle down.
Protect your installation – or just let your water do the job. With the correctly selected dosage. A mineral solution is dosed into the water in just the right amount and forms a firmly adhering protective layer on the inner wall of your pipes. This layer protects the metal from corrosion.
Specially developed JUL minerals serve to stabilise lime. They ensure that the lime contained in the water cannot settle.
This protects pipes’ and heat exchangers’ surfaces from limescale – and your family budget from rising energy costs.

Lime – an ideal environment for germs
Lime is more than just an aesthetic problem. In addition to increased energy, cleaning agents or even renovation costs, it can lead to serious hygiene problems. The irregular surfaces inside pipes with scale deposits offer bacteria an ideal environment. An imminent threat to health. The JUDO JULIA dosing system offers effective protection – permanently and reliably.
You are obliged to protect the quality of your drinking water
Protection against scale has a high priority in laws, regulations and standards. Even though drinking water installations and water heaters are of great value and should be protected, human health is even more important. According to the most international drinking water regulations, every homeowner is obliged to protect her drinking water quality.
The minerals used in JUDO dosing systems are harmless to health and comply with international drinking water regulations. Phosphates, for example, are even vital for the human organism and are needed in many body functions. They are contained in large quantities in many foods.

The fully automatic dosing system JUDO i-dos adds exactly the right amount of mineral solution to your drinking water to protect your health and your installation from damage. With its microprocessor control it works with high precision – and with the help of the built-in raw water sensor it automaticalls calculates the most economical dosing setting. The JUDO i-dos recognises the selected JUL mineral solution and automatically determines the level (not suitable for use with JUL mineral tablets).
The system can be operated very easily via the HD touch display – or particularly conveniently via app (iOS / Android) or via web app using standard Internet browsers. This allows you to operate the system from anywhere and at any time or to view the system status. Notifications from the system come as push messages, e-mail or SMS.
