Weihnachtliche Spendenübergabe
25.000 Euro an die Rems-Murr-Kliniken

In keeping with the motto “giving joy at Christmas”, JUDO Wasseraufbereitung GmbH once again decided to support various social projects as a donation partner this year. This year, among others, 25,000 euros went to the Rems-Murr-Kliniken. With the help of this donation, a simulation manikin will be purchased for the perinatal center in the new year.

The care and resuscitation of premature infants is a particularly demanding matter, especially since some procedures could not be simulated and thus practiced until now due to the small size and the required miniaturization of technology and control elements. Recently, however, new types of simulation mannequins have become available for this special case. The mannequins, which are particularly faithful to the details of an infant, can, among other things, simulate breathing, heart and breathing sounds, as well as pulse and movements.

Such a simulation manikin was therefore at the top of the wish list of the perinatal center of the Rems-Murr-Klinik. Thanks to the donation from JUDO, the purchase of the first simulation manikin of this generation can be realized in the new year. This will make it possible in the future to carry out simulation training and to care for and resuscitate premature infants in an even better and more targeted manner in the event of an emergency.

Support in the region

JUDO Wasseraufbereitung GmbH is not only an important employer for the region of Winnenden, Backnang and the surrounding area, but as a family-owned company with over 85 years of company history, it is also closely rooted in its home region. This makes it all the more important for the water treatment specialist to help directly on site and to support facilities and projects in the area – such as the Rems-Murr-Kliniken.

Donations at home and abroad

JUDO is also active in Austria and will again support the ORF-LICHT INS DUNKEL initiative as a Rubin partner in 2022. LICHT INS DUNKEL is the largest charitable initiative in Austria. It supports many different projects every year and helps more than 14,000 children and their families. In 2020 and 2021, a total of 388 social and handicapped projects in all federal provinces were supported via project funding. The family-owned company JUDO has been a donation partner for several years and considers the project aid provided by LICHT INS DUNKEL to be an important contribution to society.
