New in the range: The JUDO HOME GUARD is a wireless floor sensor in a class of its own. The smart guard not only detects water, but also automatically initiates the shut-off of the water pipe when linked to an internet-enabled JUDO micro-leakage protection product. It also measures the temperature and humidity in rooms that require intensive monitoring. In addition to flooding, the little helper can also warn of li and mould formation: it is the ideal addition to micro-leakage protection and the perfect all-round protection for the entire household.

Water damage is a nightmare for many homeowners. Where the cause is a faulty washing machine or dishwasher, for example, then the liability, in a rental, lies purely with the tenant. The new JUDO HOME GUARD floor sensor can help to minimise damage by detecting leaking water and other conductive liquids and informing the user in good time. Additional features such as temperature and humidity measurement round off the HOME GUARD. The sensor not only ensures a relaxing holiday by keeping an eye on your home. It also warns of frost if, for example, the summer cottage is empty for the winter – anytime, anywhere. By monitoring humidity, the sensor can also protect against mould. Besides an acoustic warning signal, the wireless sensor uses a round light strip. Particularly practical: thanks to the rechargeable battery via USB-C port and an operating time of up to two years without recharging, there is no need to change batteries. When the battery is low, the sensor emits a signal in good time; alternatively, it can be permanently connected to the power supply.

Smart networking: The wireless floor sensor can be connected to an internet-enabled JUDO product via the JU-Control app for worldwide control. When using the app, users receive operating and warning messages as push notifications, e-mails and/or text messages. Limit values for measuring temperature and humidity can also be adjusted via app. Using the building’s WLAN network, up to ten sensors can be connected to a JUDO product for complete monitoring: In the kitchen next to the dishwasher, in the utility room next to the washing machine or in less frequented cellar rooms. A WLAN-capable JUDO product is required to establish a connection (software update may be necessary).

In combination with the ZEWA i-SAFE micro-leakage protection system, the ZEWA i-SAFE FILT and PROM-i-SAFE multifunctional products or the i-soft PRO, i-soft PRO L, i-soft SAFE+ and i-soft K SAFE+ water softeners, the HOME GUARD plays to its strengths: When leaking water or other conductive liquids are being detected, the sensor triggers the automatic blocking of the pipe via the linked JUDO micro-leakage protection product. This can also be triggered via app as part of a routine micro-leakage check.

Functionality and appearance merge into a single unit: the simple, modern design with non-slip bottom side makes the HOME GUARD with a low installation height of just under 30 mm particularly flexible to use – designed to protect your home.
