With the new i-soft PRO XL 70 and i-soft PRO XL 140, JUDO is transferring its innovative i-soft PRO technology to the building technology. The water treatment experts now deliver fully automatic, 24/7 soft water without hardness fluctuations for up to 45 residential units. The systems feature adaptive regeneration, digital documentation of operating data, and additional intelligent functionality, such as app control for facility management. All of this contributes to particularly economical operation.
Winnenden, March 2026 – Following the successful launch of the new i-soft PRO XL range for building technology in 2025, JUDO now offers an expanded product range: i-soft PRO XL 70 for 10-25 residential units and i-soft PRO XL 140 for 25-45 residential units. With their higher performance, the new models follow on directly from the i-soft PRO L model – and make the proven i-soft PRO technology available for even larger applications.
The fully automatic water softeners effectively protect the entire drinking water installation from limescale deposits and the damage they cause, and are particularly economical to run. The intelligent water management system detects even slight fluctuations in hardness and compensates for them automatically. The water hardness is not estimated, but measured precisely using the i-guard sensor. The patented i-salt management system ensures economical and resource-saving operation with the help of state-of-the-art technology and AI. Using sensors and complex algorithms, it continuously and precisely records the salt supply and brine concentration for cost-efficient use. Together with the continuous measurement of the actual regenerant usage, adaptive capacity control is made possible. This is achieved by evaluating consumption habits and controlling the amount of brine used. The capacity is automatically increased or reduced depending on consumption in order to achieve optimal intervals between two regenerations.
At the same time, only as much regenerant and rinse water is used as is actually required by the incoming, measured water quality – users benefit from optimized salt consumption. All information, such as documentation of regenerant use, water and salt consumption, is stored in the control system. This data can then be easily transferred to a USB stick or accessed via app, web browser, and API. Property managers, for example, benefit from digital documentation, as all data is available at any time and maintenance requirements are reported.
The particularly simple and intuitive user interface makes operation a positive experience. To ensure this, the proven i-soft PRO user experience (UX) concept has been adapted to the requirements of building technology. For example, the system can be put into operation in just a few clicks using the quick start mode. The entire menu navigation is designed to be particularly intuitive and the display is angled to ensure excellent readability. The system offers an optimal operating height and can also be controlled via the JU-Control app using a smartphone, tablet, or web browser. Facility managers or other system administrators can use the app to access information, control important functions, and change the hardness settings anywhere and at any time. In addition, the water softener also has an API interface for integration into local smart home systems. Only with JUDO: When the user enters the room, the MSID Mega Status Indication Display with wake-up sensor switches on automatically. As you approach, it intuitively displays the operating status, warning and fault messages, water flow, and the currently measured salt level.
The salt storage container ensures convenient maintenance and easy cleaning: the practical hose connections near the bottom of the container allow thorough rinsing, and the generous container opening makes refilling with regeneration salt particularly easy.
Another plus: especially in combination with the optional JUDO HOME GUARD wireless floor sensor, the i-soft PRO XL 70 / XL 140 can protect against the consequences of water damage. When water is detected, the sensor triggers the shut-off of the water pipe via the leakage protection integrated in the water softener. This shut-off function can also be triggered directly via the JU-Control app or the system’s user menu without a signal from the floor sensor. Especially in complex building technology, it is advisable to provide additional protection for certain areas, such as the technical room, using wireless floor sensors.
With i-soft PRO XL 70 / XL 140, JUDO is presenting soft water 24/7 in XL format in a single system unit for the first time – particularly economical and smartly networked. The new product is now available in two versions: i-soft PRO XL 70 for 10-25 and i-soft PRO XL 140 for 25-45 residential units.
