Drinking water is clean – do I even need a water filter?

The drinking water supplied by our water suppliers is of the highest quality. It is subject to the strict limits of the drinking water ordinance. Nevertheless, small particles can get into the water on their way from the waterworks to your house – for example, through burst pipes or work on the water network. Drinking water protection filters are used to prevent these particles from getting into your domestic installation. A DVGW-tested protective filter is even obligatory in germany and prescribed by german DIN 1988.
